Alpine breakfast

Egg dishes, just the way you like them. Freshly baked bread. And anything else your heart desires, early or late in the morning.

Take a seat at the beautifully laid table, you early bird. Or take your time if you fancy a lie-in. Welcome the new day with a breakfast made just the way you like it. Help yourself and dig in. Our legendary Alpine breakfast buffet is served daily from 7:30 to 10:00 am. In summer you can also enjoy your Alpine breakfast on our terrace! Enjoy culinary excellence at Runa

The Alpe di Rodengo-Luson serves dumplings, venison dishes and strudel from 11 am to 5 pm. Get ready for authentic alpine cuisine and fresh South Tyrolean soul food.

As you know, the air at high altitude makes you hungry. Maybe that’s the secret, because many clever folks have wondered why South Tyrol has such an excellent cuisine. Maybe it’s because up here on the Alpe di Rodengo-Luson, we insist on using only the finest ingredients, giving our grandmothers’ recipes a modern twist and letting the authentic taste of the mountains shine through. Chef Alex dances to the rhythm of the seasons, letting nature set the tone for our plates. Whenever you stop by, be prepared for a treat of premium game, the finest wild herb pesto or freshly picked wild berries. With the attentive Runa service team at your service, you can fully enjoy the delicious flavours of the Runa Alm.

Gala dinner on the mountain pasture

As the evening falls, a gourmet dinner awaits you at 1,832 metres above sea level. Enjoy exquisite and extraordinary flavours on your plate. And into your soul.

As the sun dips below the horizon, your heart will soar. That is, if you love flavours, textures and tastes just as much as we do. It’s a three-act show, each course a delight. Choose what you fancy. Alex has curated the menu with the utmost care. Enjoy an evening bathed in candlelight and great company under the benevolent gaze of the stars. Let yourself be transported to new realms of taste. Rediscover the pleasures of childhood. Immerse yourself in the diverse culinary landscape of South Tyrol. Even if you’re not staying with us – though we’d love it if you did – you’re still very welcome. Just let us know when you would like to enjoy the Runa Alm Dinner and reserve your table by email or phone: + 39 0472 546016.
