At the Runa, the Wi-Fi may be a bit spotty, but the connection with nature is top-notch and delightful surprises await around every corner. Here you can find answers to some of our most frequently asked questions.

When can I check in at the Runa Nature Hotel?

Your room is available from 2 pm on the day of arrival. If you arrive earlier, we’ll be happy to store your luggage while you explore the Alpe di Rodengo-Luson, our Alpine garden or our sun terrace.

What time is check-out?

Please vacate your room or suite by 9:30 am on the day of departure.

How do I get to the Runa Nature Hotel?

It’s easier than you think! Despite the Alpe di Rodengo-Luson being a traffic-calmed zone. In summer, your car (thanks to a special permit) can pull right up to our doorstep for a well-deserved rest. And in winter a snowmobile whisks you up to 1,832 metres. Curious about the details? Find out here.

Is there really no Internet at the Runa?

Yes and no. You can hop onto our free Wi-Fi in the reception area. But everywhere else, the mobile phone reception drops, along with the internet connection. But trust us, you’ll quickly adapt and come to enjoy switching off in the truest sense of the word!

Are dogs welcome at the Runa Nature Hotel?

Of course! Just let us know when you’re booking that you’ll be bringing your dog with you. While some rooms are reserved for guests with allergies, we’ll make sure to accommodate you and your four-legged family member. There’s a daily rate of €25 for your pooch. Please remember to bring along their own blanket or dog bed, as our beds and furniture are reserved for two-legged friends. The sauna and dining area are also for humans only. If you’d like your dog to join you for dinner, we’ll happily set up a table for you both in our fireside lounge in the Alm Bar.

What are your cancellation policies?

Cancellation up to 30 days before arrival is free. If you cancel from 29 to 15 days prior to arrival, we charge 50% of the booking rate. 14 days before arrival, we charge 70% of the booking price, in case of no-show, late arrival or early departure we have to charge you 100% of the booking rate. We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

How can I pay at the Runa Nature Hotel?

You can pay your bill on the day of departure by credit card or debit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro. You can also pay in cash if the invoice amount is less than €4,999.99.

What is included in the room rate?

Our prices are per person and per night including Runa half-board. Here you can read all about our inclusive services. Not included in the price is the local tax of €2.80 per person and day of stay, we will charge you this tax separately on your departure. Children and teens under age 14 do not have to pay this tax.
